sunderella

sun dae (pronounced soon-deh) is a korean sausage made with rice, pig’s intestinal casing and… blood. it sounds disgusting, and it looks disgusting. but, at times it can be delicious. like usually when you’re drunk or famished. anyway, i came across this lovely food art using sun dae as its material. the artist calls it “sunderella”.

Everything tastes relatively better when washed down with a cheap bottle of soju. Actually, sundae is excellent when served as a “국밥”.

ha ha! us brits have the most internationally maligned food, but i’m glad to see good ol’ black pudding (for that is what it’s called) in korea too.
