this is pretty sneaky of japan. release pictures like this of the self defense force and lull its enemies into thinking its air force is less than modern.

then bam! veritech valkyrie fighters from SDF-1 (super dimensional fortress) smite the foe.

i’m sorry, i don’t know why, but i find this photo so funny.
